WARNING: We are aware of no current state or federal guidelines for pulling a trailer with a motorcycle. We suggest when pulling and loading a trailer you do not exceed the motorcycle manufacturer’s Gross Vehicle Weight limits.
NOTE: The tongue weight of the trailer, when attached to the hitch, must not exceed 10 percent of the total trailer weight and its contents — with the maximum tongue weight not to exceed 30 lb. Also remember when pulling a trailer with a motorcycle, extra distance must be allowed for stopping and a slower speed used when cornering. Use extra caution, and don’t exceed your limits.
